The day of Arafat corresponds to the ninth day of the month Lunaire Dhoul-Hijja, on Thursday, November 26th, 2009 this year. It is the day of perfection of the religion and the perfection of the (divine) grace(favor) granted(tuned) to the believers.
The day of Arafat should fall near November 15th, 2010.

" Among the extraordinary morality and the moving events which takes place on the occasion of Hadj, there is this immense and blessed gathering which attend the pilgrims, the day of ' Arafat. All this world gathered(combined) in this place to answer to the appeal of Allah through Talbiya and to beg their Lord, hearts on the look-out for His Mercy and fill with fear towards Its Torture. They implore His immense Favor during the biggest Islamic demonstration which is. This event in reminder of the other one more spectacular; it is the day of the Resurrection where will be round up The first ones and the last generations in a single place, in the ceaseless expectation of the Big sentence to be collected which will decide on the fate of people. Each will know if it is intended to enjoy the eternal delights either to undergo the most painful agonies. "

The presence of the pilgrims  to Arafatt is a central rite, without which the pilgrimage is invalid. All the pilgrims converge in this place during this day (the 9th day of the month of Dhoul Hijja), as made the Prophet Mohamed (sallallâhou alayhi wa sallam), during his unique pilgrimage in  the hégirien ,year 10, when accompanied him some hundred and twenty thousand pilgrims, companions.
When the Prophet Mohamed (sallallâhou alayhi wa sallam), was questioned by one of his companions about the importance of this day, he answered:
" There’s no other day during which God saves the largest number of people of the Hell, as that of Arafat ".
And he recommended to the absent believers this day of Arafat, to fast it  where they are.

The day of Arafat is a big day, looking like in the day when all the human beings will be reincarnated then put up waiting for God's sentence. Indeed, those who belong to Arafat abandoned their families and their close relations, their possessions and their businesses, all are gathered with the same dress, all liking God the Unique.
They dedicate their time to read the Koran, to evoke God ( dhikr ) and to call upon him (dou' a). All want to use this opportunity to get closer to God. They came, by millions, not to make  tourism, to rest, to look for the exotic, or to have fun. They did not come for  some business . They came with one only and ultimate objective: obey God, call upon him, like him, recognize His Uniqueness, His Power, asks for Its Mercy and for Its benefactions.

While following their example, us who are absent in this grand place, that the Prophet (sallallâhou alayhi wa sallam), told us to fast this day, and to fill this day by the prayer, the evocation and God's invocation. We do not have to allow to lose this day, this opportunity(occasion), if we want, we too, to be among those who will be saved from the Hell.

And as the sun arrives at the term of its route, so announcing the end of the day of Arafat, the efforts multiply on behalf of the pilgrims in their God's worship, calling upon him by crying, evoking him in ecstasy. These efforts multiply and increase, the believers wanting in a last will, to prevent the sun from closing this majestic day to take advantage at most of moments of this day. Because a few moments after the sunset, it is necessary to leave Arafat,  leaving the plain of Arafat and going to Mina, by way of Muzdalifa, in any humility, in the peace. Rivers of human beings, men, women, blacks, whites, young people, old man, on foot, on vehicles, with the same dress, the same breathless shout:

" Labbeyk allouhamma labbeyk ", I answer Your call, My God, yes I answer. I answer it to You the Unique, without partner. Certainly praise, benefactions, all result from You, as well as the reign, You which has no partner ".

Can feel these moments of intense faith only those who went and answered to the appeal of God
For all these reasons, it is incomprehensible and inconceivable that Muslims can spend their money and their time in trips of enjoyment and tourism, while they have not filled this obligation yet.

The pilgrimage owes to be made from the first occasion, from the amassed financial savings.
And the one who will drip only once in the pilgrimage, at his moments, in the blessed and sacred places walked by the Prophet Mohamed (sallallâhou alayhi wa sallam), which saw the birth of this Prophet, the Islam, the places which still give evidence of the divine revelation, then that one will not find any other more beautiful place, the more revivifying, the more getting fresh ideas, more illuminated than this Big Mosque, this plain of Arafat, the region of Mina, and last but not least the grave of the Prophet(sallallâhou alayhi wa sallam).
