Tips for Makkah (Tawaf)

 Tips for Makkah (Tawaf)

1. The best time of the day to perform Tawaf on the ground floor is midnight to 3am in the days leading up to Hajj. After Hajj, there is almost no chance of performing your Tawaf on the ground floor without getting crushed, pushed and shoved. It also takes longer on the ground floor then on the 2nd floor or roof level during Hajj days.
2. Don’t waste your time in Mecca by shopping or sitting in your hotel rooms praying. Go down to the Haram and find a nice comfortable place with a view of the Kaaba. Even though women are often asked to sit in their designated areas (outside of salat times), you can often find a place with a view if you walk around a little and make the effort. I can’t imagine a better place in the world to be.
3. Perform as many Tawaf as you can (without causing fatigue) as you may never get this chance again. It is not necessary to perform Umrah after Umrah while you are in Mecca . You’re better off performing as many Tawaf as you can and sitting in front of the Kaaba and bearing your soul to Allah. Pray to Him, ask Him for his help and mercy. Make the most of it. I cannot stress that enough!!!!!!
