Mr. Sahl Bin Al-Sabban, the Deputy Minister of Hajj for Pilgrim Affairs, Projects and the Holy Sites, has held a meeting with Fakhri Daghastani, the chairman of the Organization of Mutawwafeen for European ,Turkish, Australian and American Muslims.
This meeting was held at the organization’s head offices in Mecca in the presence of its vice chairman Nabil Abid and other members of the board. It dealt with a series of pending issues and the positives to come out of the 2010 Hajj in terms of the provided services as well as transport, water and security.
In his speech on the occasion, Mr. Al-Sabban said that "the meeting was held at the request of the Minister of Hajj to assess as soon as possible any observations noted during the Hajj season in terms of services to pilgrims and to find solutions, as well as build on the positives".
Additionally, Mr. Daghastani said the prompt meetings would help improve the provided services and the stability of the pilgrims while performing the Hajj.
He added that meetings with relevant parties both in the kingdom and abroad are being held to hear everyone’s comments and prepare for Hajj 2011.
