During 3 days, from Saturday, December the 17th to Monday, December the 19th, the SIMM will welcome craftsmen, wholesalers, cultural and trade officers, as well as international Muslim scholars.
Exhibitors and guests will display their expertise and unveil the diversity of the Muslim culture as well as its intellectual and spiritual values.
Under the mottoes of « Knowledge », « Know-How » and « Letting know », the 2011 edition will showcase a rich and various program: conferences, workshops, animations, exhibitions, world food degustation, women fashion show.
Both « know how » and « letting know » areas will provide networking opportunities for French and international entrepreneurs, governmental bodies and associations, potential customers, public and trade visitors. The « knowledge » area will be a platform of expression where attendees will discover the role of Islam in the achievement of the European civilization and how can this heritage participate, as such, in building more equitable and healthier societies.
In a context of doubt but also hope for change, the International fair of the Muslim World (SIMM) will be a unique platform to discover and emphasize the cultural diversity and amazing contribution of the Muslim heritage worldwide. This first-time event aims at changing one’s vision: by getting to know each others, by considering social, ethnical and religious differences as an asset and not a threat, we can inspire change, and therefore build up a peaceful and successful society.

The main theme for 2011 edition will help to get to know an emblematic, however not well known man: Muhammad. The Prophet of Islam.
International keynote speakers from various religions and backgrounds will share their vision about Muhammad’s life, role, and the contribution of his message both individually and collectively within worldwide societies. Several points of views thus, to promote the «vivre ensemble » by sharing experiences and knowledge, through open and respectful exchanges.
